a) Team Tournament
- One (1) women's singles player

b) Individual Tournament
- Maximum of three (3) Men's singles players
- Maximum of three (3) Women's singles players
- One (1) Men's doubles pair
- One (1) Women's doubles pair
- One (1) Mixed doubles pair
 
Participation

Individual Men's event
A maximum of three (3) men (singles) + one (1) team (doubles) + one (1) team (mixed).

Individual Women's event
A maximum of three (3) women (singles) + one (1) team (doubles) + one (1) team (mixed).

In each sex category, each country may enter:
- maximum six (6) competitors. 
 
Delegation

Each country is authorised to enter a maximum of seventeen (17) persons of which twelve (12) may be competitors and five (5) officials. 
 
Age Limit

The competitors must be born between January 1st, 1980 and December 31st, 1990. 
 
Deadlines For Entries

General Entries: November 5th, 2007
Quantitative Entries: February 5th, 2008
Nominative Entries: April 5th, 2008

The latest teams to confirm their entry at our event are: Japan, Malaysia, Finland, Russia, Macau, China, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka.
Already participating are Australia, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, China, Chinese Taipei, Cyprus, Great Britain, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia,
Flag of South Africa South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine.
At this time almost 275 participants are already confirmed from a total of 26 delegations.

- La 24e Universiade d`été, est la deuxième manifestation sportive au monde après les jeux Olympiques en nombre de participants, se déroule à Bangkok, avec 10.200 athlètes engagés, tous étudiants de 160 nationalités, qui se mesurent dans 17 disciplines.
Cette grand-messe mondiale du sport universitaire fera cette année l`objet de toutes les attentions des découvreurs de talents dans la perspective des Jeux de Pékin, l`an prochain.
